My main computer for school is a 15" Macbook Pro with Microsoft Office, but it's too big and heavy to lug around everywhere, especially to lectures where you only get a tiny wooden fold-up desk.
So I've saved up some money to buy myself a note. I've done a lot of research and narrowed my finalists to the Asus Vivotab Note 8 and the Samsung Galaxy Review 8, but I'm open to other tab. I'm comfortable with both Windows 8 and Android my phone is an Android, note owns W8 computer.
My main use for the tablet would be to take notes while in class handwritten and typedas well as study, write papers, do homework and read ebooks.I would also use it for surfing the web, playing games, and watching video on the side, but these aren't as important to me.
I also like that it could possibly interface with the Transleeve Keyboardsince I'm also looking to get vivo case with a keyboard and a trackpad.

Regarding the note taking apps, it's mostly syncing that is where S-Note hurts, there is no desktop version as far as I am aware.
